Job summary

MAPEI in Brisbane is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee the safe, accurate, and effective quality control of incoming and manufactured products at our Brisbane facility in Wacol. Lead QC teams, ensure compliance with specifications, calibrate testing equipment, and collaborate with Production and R&D to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous working experience in leading QC in a manufacturing facility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and autonomy when it comes to decision making.

• Sensitivity to economy, safety and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Accept incoming goods and the release of manufactured products, including stopping all good if judged non-conforming.
• Ensure the respect of Specifications, Corporate and Local Testing Methods, Procedures and Guidelines.
• Ensure the continuous control and calibration of testing equipment.
• Provide strong support and cooperation with the Production department.
• Promote and implement actions to establish and maintain a safe, sustainable, clean and
• Prepare all the documents and information for Internal and External Audits.
• Supervise the QC staff and manage the workload.
• Proactively cooperate with the relevant Corporate Departments, particularly R&D.

About the Opportunity

Based in Brisbane, the Quality Control Manager will ensure a safe, accurate and effective control of the quality of incoming and manufactured products, accordingly to specifications and defined quality standards.
