Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company in Colby, WI is hiring a QC Technician to perform systematic lab testing on each batch and ensure quality checks across flavor, aroma, appearance and texture. The role requires standing for long periods, following GMP/HACCP guidelines and reporting results promptly.

Responsibilities include collecting samples, recording results, and maintaining a clean, compliant lab environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab testing for each batch, including moisture, pH, salt, fat, brix, oxygen and viscosity tests.
• Perform quality checks for flavor, appearance, color, and texture.
• Record test results accurately and complete paperwork.
• Notify lab management of out-of-spec results.
• Report any safety concerns and follow GMP/HACCP.
