Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Quality Control Technician who thrives on precision and safety, ensuring the integrity of ADM's food and feed products at our vegetable oil processing facility. You will lead analytical testing, maintain equipment accuracy, and uphold world-class standards.

The role requires wet chemistry testing, sample preparation from raw materials and finished products, and compliance with GMP, HACCP and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Three-year diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of relevant laboratory experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wet chemistry tests and safely handle chemicals.
• Prepare and analyze samples of raw materials, finished feed products (soybean meal, canola meal, hulls), and finished food products (edible oils).
• Use modern laboratory instrumentation and computerized data systems to record and track analytical results.
• Calibrate and perform minor repairs on lab equipment to maintain reliability and compliance.
• Perform daily quality and monitoring checks throughout the facility.
• Retrieve and manage samples directly from production areas.
• Ensure all testing follows GMP, HACCP, and safety protocols.
