Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform NIR and chemical analyses, monitor results, and report deviations to the Laboratory Supervisor. You will prepare reagents, certify results, and issue COAs while maintaining GLP and safety standards.

The role requires licensure as a chemist or chemical technician, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a busy, shift-based laboratory environment with close coordination with the QC team.

Qualifications

• Licensed chemist or chemical technician is required.
• Laboratory operations experience is preferred; fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform NIR and wet chemistry analyses on raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor analysis trends and report deviations to supervisor.
• Prepare reagents, standardize procedures, and track expiry dates.
• Record all analytical data and preparations in logbooks for traceability.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis and test reports for samples.
• Update mycotoxin and QC reports after each test performed.
• Maintain GLP, safety, and calibration of equipment; support shift turnover.
