Job summary

Minetek is seeking a Quality Inspector to manage inspections of components, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure adherence to customer and company specifications.

You will inspect materials, components, assemblies, and finished goods, review drawings, identify non-conformances, and maintain quality records while supporting investigations with Engineering and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or industrial environments.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to verify requirements.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Perform inspections throughout production to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Review drawings and documentation to verify product requirements.
• Identify, record, and report non-conformances and quality issues.
• Complete inspection reports and quality records accurately.
• Support investigations into production and quality issues with Engineering and Production teams.
• Guide production teams on quality requirements and improvements.
• Assist with developing and maintaining inspection checklists and quality processes.

The Role:

To manage the inspection of components, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure the accuracy and quality of manufactured/repaired products, in accordance with the customer and company specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, components, assemblies, and finished products
• Perform inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Review drawings, technical specifications, and documentation to verify product requirements
• Identify, record, and report non-conformances and quality issues
• Complete inspection reports, quality records, and documentation accurately
• Support investigations into production and quality issues with Engineering and Production teams
• Guide production teams on quality requirements and improvement opportunities
• Assist with developing and maintaining inspection checklists and quality processes

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Inspector role within manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of quality inspection processes, testing methods, and compliance requirements
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
• Experience identifying defects, non-conformances, and supporting corrective actions
• Good communication skills with the ability to work with Production and Engineering teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Relevant QA/QC certification or inspection training is a plus
