Job summary

Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd in Kemps Creek, NSW, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the Quality team on a full-time, on‑site basis.

You’ll perform inspections, investigate quality concerns, and support continuous improvement initiatives across ANZ markets. Reporting to the Incoming Quality Control Manager, you will collaborate with warehouse, engineering and product teams to ensure products meet high quality standards while maintaining accurate records and contributing to safe, efficient

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality inspection, quality control, or engineering or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality concerns.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Experience maintaining accurate inspection, testing and quality records.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual, physical and functional inspections of incoming products, accessories and equipment.
  • Perform product testing using measurement tools and testing equipment to assess compliance with quality specifications.
  • Document inspection results, test outcomes and non-conformances in accordance with established quality procedures.
  • Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, Product Management and other stakeholders.
  • Investigate quality issues, identify root causes and support corrective actions.
  • Work closely with warehouse, inventory and inbound teams to support IQC operations.
  • Assist with rework projects, including training and supervising temporary staff when required.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Help maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Incoming Quality Control Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring products meet the high-quality standards expected across the ANZ market. You’ll conduct inspections, investigate quality concerns, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with teams locally and across Asia to help deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Day-to-Day
