Job summary

Hidrive Group, a national Australian manufacturer of service bodies for utes, trailers and trucks, is seeking a Quality Control team member to ensure daily delivery of consistent quality. You will work with production staff to capture defects before delivery and uphold quality standards.

Requirements include a Forklift License and a logical, dependable approach. We offer an attractive hourly rate, tools provided and an incentive scheme as part of our supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QC Manager to improve the QC process and SOPs.
• Perform hands-on quality inspections in required areas.
• Understand, follow and uphold Quality Standards and SOPs.
• Escalate defects with Team Leaders and rework parts as required.
• Ensure all components are present and checks completed before proceeding.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure delivery of consistent quality every day. It is important to make certain that every defect is captured before delivery to the next customer, thereby ensuring that the completed product will exceed Hidrivecustomer's expectations.

This role works closely with the production staff and team leaders to ensure that Hidrivereputation of high-quality products is maintained. Also,

• Assist the Quality Control Manager to improve the QC process, develop Standard Operating Procedures as well as Quality Standards
• Completion of hands-on quality inspections in areas required
• Understand, follow and uphold Quality Standards and SOP's
• Escalate defects with Team Leaders and rework parts as required
• Ensure all components are present and checks completed before proceeding to the next step

About You

• A Forklift License is essential for this role
