Job summary

PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, Stapylton QLD, is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the team and support quality initiatives across production and inspection. An Engineering graduate or prior QA coordination experience is preferred.

You will develop QA protocols, analyze data, and collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues, while leveraging GD&T knowledge and QA tools. This role offers career growth and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Quality Coordinator or similar quality-focused role or an Engineering graduate.
• Knowledge of ISO quality frameworks and QA methodologies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Strong attention to detail and good organization.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
• Ability to read GD&T drawings is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA protocols across production and inspection.
• Perform product and process audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Analyze quality data, generate reports, identify trends for improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Support QC/QA teams in driving best practices.
• Manage calibration of inspection equipment and records using calibration software.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures across production and inspection processes
• Conduct regular product and process audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
• Analyse quality data, generate reports, and identify trends or opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Support quality control and quality assurance teams in driving and maintaining best practices
• Manage the calibration of inspection equipment and maintain accurate records using calibration software
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
• Read and interpret technical drawings, developing a strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

Your Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a Quality Coordinator or similar quality-focused role, or an Engineering graduate looking to start their career
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and ISO frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data effectively
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and communicate effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems/software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (GD&T knowledge highly regarded)
