Job summary

Consulting Services is seeking a Quality Control Administrator to support day-to-day production in a raw materials business. The role focuses on QC testing and related admin, including documenting results and ensuring adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities include recording test results, conducting sampling for micro testing, assisting with investigations, and helping with internal audits. Ideally, you bring QC experience, a science background, and strong data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control is advantageous.
• Tertiary qualification in science or related discipline is preferred.
• High level data entry accuracy is required.
• Ability to learn quickly is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• High level knowledge of database or production systems is beneficial.

• Support internal GMP and quality audits.

We are currently seeking a keen and fast learning Quality Control Administrator to support the day to day production needs of a raw materials business. The role is responsible for assisting with the administrative and data-driven aspects of the manufacturing process, with a specialised focus on QC testing and related admin.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record all test results on the test sheets following implemented procedures and policies


• Perform bulk checks and assess conformance to product specifications


• Conduct in-process and finished product sampling for micro testing


• Assist customer complaint investigations and resolution of observed issues


• Help with conducting internal audits to ensure correct implementation of company procedures and work instructions.


• Carry out material testing, according to specifications when required


• Assist internal GMP and quality audits


• To maintain the laboratory work area in a clean and tidy condition


• Teamwork & commitment to support manufacturing and packaging operations to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications And Experience

• Previous experience in a Quality Control role highly advantageous


• Tertiary qualified in science or other similar discipline (preferred) - new graduates considered


• High level data entry accuracy


• Ability to learn quickly


• Strong Written and Verbal communication skills


• High level knowledge of database and/or production systems
