Responsibilities

• Collect samples from manufacturing line.

• Assist with sensory evaluations.
• Data entry and result compilation.
• Check and fill quality paperwork.

• Seeking a QA/QC Officer to join the quality team
• 6-month casual contract, potential to extend
• Must be able to workday shift (6am-6pm), night shifts (6pm-6am) and weekends
• 7-day fortnightly roster
• Open to food science and chemistry graduates

Duties, but not limited to:

• Collecting samples from manufacturing line
• QC testing of raw materials and finished products using basic wet chemistry techniques (titrations, pH, brix, HPLC)
• Batch release
• Assisting with sensory evaluations
• Data entry and result compilation
• Check and fill-in quality paperwork
• General housekeeping and maintenanceof lab
• Ensure GMP standards

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary educationin Food science, Chemistry, or similar
• Prior experience in GMP regulated environment or laboratory is highly advantageous
• Good understanding of chemistry analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and time management
