Job summary

Sabco Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Quality Control Officer to ensure products meet quality, safety and reliability standards across the Australian market. You will assess stock on import, test products and investigate returns, applying practical problem-solving to prevent defects and drive improvements.

You will help uphold standards, coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and maintain clear records while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control or product testing within consumer products/manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to interpret product specifications and follow testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test incoming stock, new products, warehouse inventory and returns using visual, dimensional and functional checks.
• Evaluate products against specifications and acceptance criteria; report defects and non-conformances.
• Investigate customer complaints and returns to identify faults and trends, propose improvements.
• Coordinate supplier corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.
• Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain accurate records from issue to resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement with internal teams and suppliers to enhance testing methods and inspection processes.
