Job summary

Boral in Redlynch, Queensland is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team. You will conduct testing and quality assurance of concrete and quarry products to support major construction projects across the region.

Reporting to the Laboratory Team Leader, you will perform sampling, calibrate equipment, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safety and NATA requirements. This permanent full-time role offers comprehensive training and long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or related qualification.
• Experience in laboratory testing, construction materials, quarry, mining or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test concrete and quarry products following established procedures.
• Generate and maintain accurate testing records and reports.
• Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans for production and compliance testing.
• Maintain laboratory facilities in line with NATA accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with production teams to support quality and operational outcomes.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture at all times.
