Job summary

Boral is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Redlynch, Queensland team. Reporting to the Laboratory Team Leader, you will conduct sampling, testing, and QA of concrete and quarry products supporting major construction projects in the region.

You will maintain testing records, calibrate equipment, follow ITPs, and ensure compliance with NATA standards, while promoting a strong safety culture and collaborating with production teams.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or related qualification.
• Experience in laboratory testing, construction materials, quarry, mining or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test concrete and quarry products in accordance with established procedures
• Generate and maintain accurate testing records and reports
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans to carry out production and compliance testing
• Maintain laboratory facilities in line with NATA accreditation requirements
• Work collaboratively with production teams to support quality and operational outcomes
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture at all times

Job description

Boral is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Laboratory Technician to join our team in Redlynch, Queensland. Reporting to the Laboratory Team Leader, you will play a key role in the sampling, testing, and quality assurance of concrete and quarry products that support major construction and infrastructure projects across the region.

About the Role

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting testing and quality assurance activities to ensure our products meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample and test concrete and quarry products in accordance with established procedures
