Job summary

Elysium Digital is seeking experienced Functional Automation Testers to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications. This hands-on role combines manual testing with automation development and CI/CD integration in an Agile setup.

You will design, implement, and maintain automated UI and API suites, perform a range of testing types, and collaborate across business analysts, developers, and project teams to achieve quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience performing functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Strong automation testing experience using Playwright and Selenium.
• Experience with API and integration testing using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or Playwright API Testing.
• Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git or other source control, test management and defect tracking tools.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Functional Automation Testers to support the delivery of enterprise digital transformation initiatives. Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of modern business applications built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.

This is a hands-on testing role requiring a combination of manual testing expertise, automation development skills, and experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements and develop effective test strategies and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated UI and API test suites.
• Test Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse-based applications.
• Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Support end-to-end business process validation across enterprise systems.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and project teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing practice.

Additional Skills highly sought

• ISTQB Automation Testing Certification or similar.
• Deep experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Power BI environments.
• Experience testing server-side plugins, custom APIs, API Management integrations, and environment configuration.
• Previous experience working within Government or highly regulated environments.
