Job summary

Trackita is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Test Engineer to help ensure our government client’s digital services are dependable from start to finish. You will join our Testing Practice to blend hands-on testing with smart UI and API automation, catching issues early to strengthen releases and build customer confidence in the platform.

Working arrangement: Hybrid. Contract: 12 months with two 12-month extensions; estimated start around 5 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.
• UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar.
• API automation using Postman/Newman, REST Assured or Playwright API testing.
• Proven Azure DevOps CI/CD test integration, VS Code, source control, defect management and test reporting.
• Strong testing methodology, SDLC and Agile delivery knowledge.

Help make our client's digital services dependable from the first click to the final transaction. Join our client's Testing Practice to combine hands-on testing with smart UI and API automation. Your work will catch issues early, strengthen releases and give customers confidence in the growing client's platform.

About the role:

Test Microsoft business applications with hands-on checks and automated UI and API tests.

What you will do

Plan and execute manual, functional, integration, regression and user acceptance tests for our clients platform and related business processes.

Design and maintain automated UI and API regression suites that execute within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Analyse requirements, validate end-to-end processes and manage defects and test reporting.

Work independently after a short onboarding period and adapt across concurrent projects and changing priorities.

What you will bring

Experience testing Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse.

UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar, plus API automation using Postman/Newman, REST Assured or Playwright API testing.

Experience validating backend services and integrations, including APIs, Dataverse plugins/custom APIs and authentication flows.

Proven Azure DevOps CI/CD test integration, VS Code, source control, defect management and test reporting.

Strong testing methodology, SDLC and Agile delivery knowledge, with multidisciplinary teamwork and flexibility.

Desirable experience: ISTQB Automation or similar; deeper Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Power BI testing; plugin logic, secrets and API Management policy validation; Jira or similar tools.
