Job summary

SKL Technology is seeking an experienced Functional Automation Tester to deliver manual and automated testing across digital transformation initiatives. You will focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse.

In a multi-project Agile environment, you will design and execute test scenarios, manage defects, and integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse.
• Strong UI, functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing across web-based and enterprise apps.
• Proven test automation experience and ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency with VS Code and source control; understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Functional Automation Tester to deliver both manual and automated testing across digital transformation initiatives. The role will focus on testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse-based solutions, along with associated business processes.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects, quickly understanding new applications and business processes, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver manual and automated testing across enterprise applications and digital solutions.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform UI, functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated UI regression test suites.
• Develop automated testing for APIs, backend services and system integrations.
• Test Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse.
• Manage defects through identification, documentation, tracking, retesting and closure.
• Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines so testing executes automatically during build and release processes.
• Work with source control, test management and reporting tools.
• Collaborate within Agile multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects and delivery phases.
• Adapt to changing technologies, priorities, business domains and project requirements.

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse, covering requirements analysis, test scenarios, test execution, defect management and end-to-end business process validation.
• Strong experience performing UI, functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing across web-based and enterprise applications.
• Strong test automation experience across:
• UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated execution during build and release processes.
• Proficiency with VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control, defect management, test management and reporting, together with a strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated adaptability and ability to work across multiple projects, technologies, testing phases, teams and business domains as priorities change.
• ISTQB Automation Certification or similar testing/automation certification.
• In-depth experience testing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform and Power BI, including areas such as server-side/plugin logic, environment variables, secret configuration and API Management policy validation.
• Experience using Jira or similar tools for test and defect management alongside Azure DevOps.
