Cathara Consulting is seeking an experienced Quality & Testing Manager to lead testing and quality assurance activities across a major healthcare technology transformation program.

This role will be responsible for establishing and driving testing strategy, governance and delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring solutions are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with project, technical, clinical and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a large-scale digital transformation initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the testing function across a major healthcare technology transformation program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvements in testing efficiency, coverage and delivery performance across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Take ownership of test strategies, test plans, test documentation, test cases and overall testing outcomes.
• Lead and mentor a team of government and contract testing resources to deliver successful program outcomes.
• Prioritise testing activities and coordinate delivery across competing project requirements.
• Provide oversight and guidance on testing resource planning, utilisation and capability.
• Proactively identify, manage and resolve testing risks, issues and impediments.
• Partner with Clinical Safety Officers to ensure solutions are safe for implementation and that clinical safety and risk management requirements are appropriately addressed.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, third-party vendors and senior business stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Provide leadership and assurance across testing governance, reporting and quality management activities.

About you

You are a proven Quality and Test Manager with experience delivering quality outcomes across large-scale ICT or digital transformation programs. You bring a strategic approach to testing, strong stakeholder management skills and a track record of leading high-performing teams in complex environments.

• Demonstrated experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead on large ICT programs.
• Strong experience leading testing teams across complex projects or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance frameworks and best practices.
• Extensive experience with test plans, scenarios, cases, scripts and test outcomes.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with test management and test automation tools and methodologies.
• Experience testing COTS solutions will be highly regarded
• ISTQB or similar industry certification is desirable
