Job summary

Superior Pest Management is looking for Qualified Pest Technicians and motivated trainees to join our growing, locally-owned team. We value quality work, supportive colleagues and excellent customer service across residential, commercial and strata properties.

Role involves general and termite inspections/treatments, travelling across Newcastle area, and building strong client relationships with a commitment to safety and professional reporting. Training and full support are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pest Technicians OR motivated people seeking a pest management career.
• Physically capable of crawling into confined spaces and working in varying environments.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with hours, including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• General pest inspections and treatments
• Termite inspections and treatments
• Servicing residential, commercial and strata clients
• Travel throughout Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and Central Coast
• Build strong customer relationships
• Provide professional advice and recommendations
• Complete accurate service reports
• Manage daily schedule and work autonomously
• Work with a supportive team on larger jobs when needed

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Depending on your experience and qualifications, you’ll be carrying out general pest and termite inspections/treatments across residential, commercial and strata properties.

Your days will include:

• General pest inspections and treatments

• Termite inspections and treatments

• Servicing residential, commercial and strata clients

• Travelling throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and the Central Coast

• Building strong relationships with customers

• Providing professional advice and recommendations

• Completing accurate service reports

• Managing your daily schedule and working autonomously

• Working alongside a supportive team when larger jobs require it

ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT?

We’re looking for people who are:

• Qualified Pest Technicians OR motivated people looking to start a career in pest management

• Physically capable of working in crawl spaces, roof voids and other challenging environments when required

• Reliable and punctual

• Flexible with working hours and start times

• Willing to participate in a rotating weekend roster, with applicable overtime rates paid

• Holders of an Australian Driver’s Licence – P plates are OK!

• Comfortable working independently and following a daily schedule

• Friendly, professional and well presented

• Confident communicating with customers

• Strong on customer service

• A genuine team player

• Motivated, reliable and willing to learn

• Someone who takes pride in their work
