Job summary

Pesthelp in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a qualified Pest Control Technician for a secure, full-time role delivering pest management across residential, commercial and government sites.

You will conduct inspections, apply treatments, manage rodent programs, and prepare reports while maintaining records and building strong customer relationships. NSW Licence and valid Australian Driver Licence required; a professionally supportive, family-owned environment is offered.

The Role

As a Qualified Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for delivering professional pest management services across a diverse range of residential, commercial and government sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting pest inspections and identifying pest activity, harbourage and potential entry points
• Carrying out general pest treatments for cockroaches, ants, spiders and other common pests
• Delivering rodent management programs, including baiting, monitoring and identifying proofing requirements
• Assessing pest issues and recommending appropriate treatment and preventative solutions
• Safely applying pesticides and other pest management products in accordance with label requirements, legislation and company procedures
• Providing professional advice and exceptional customer service
• Preparing detailed service reports, recommendations and quotations
• Maintaining accurate electronic service records and documentation
• Building positive relationships with customers, site representatives and clients
• Maintaining company equipment and your allocated service vehicle
• Working in accordance with Pesthelp's WHS, environmental and quality management procedures

This is a varied role suited to an experienced technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems and taking pride in delivering quality outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A current NSW Pest Management Technician Licence
• Previous experience working as a Pest Control Technician
• A current Australian Driver Licence
• Sound knowledge of general pest and rodent management
• Strong inspection and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to complete clear and professional service reports
• A professional and well-presented approach
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• The ability to manage your daily workload and work independently
• A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude

Experience in termite management, timber pest inspections, bird management, pest proofing or large-scale commercial pest management will be highly regarded.

Additional qualifications such as a White Card, Working with Children Check, Working at Heights or Timber Pest Management Licence will also be advantageous.
