Job summary

MSS East Coast Air Pty Ltd in Maitland, NSW, is seeking a qualified electrician to join our domestic & light commercial HVAC team. You’ll install air conditioning systems across residential homes, offices, aged care, and schools, ensuring safety and top workmanship.

You should have completed an electrical apprenticeship, hold a current driver’s licence, be reliable with good communication, and ideally HVAC installation experience.

We're looking for a qualified electrician to join our team of HVAC installers in our domestic & light commercial department.

For over 20 years, our company has built a strong reputation for delivering quality HVAC solutions across Newcastle, Maitland and the greater Hunter Region. We’re continuing to grow and is looking for an Electrician to join our team.

YOUR MISSION

We’re looking for someone who enjoys HVAC installation work, takes pride in their workmanship and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

You’ll be installing air conditioning systems across:

Residential homes

Office spaces

Nursing homes and aged care facilities

Schools and educational facilities

You’ll be expected to:

Install domestic and light commercial air conditioning systems

Install pipework, electrical components, drains and associated equipment

Complete installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Maintain a quality finish and professional presentation

Work alongside installers, technicians and apprentices

Follow manufacturer specifications and company procedures

Treat customers’ homes and commercial premises with respect

We’re looking for the right person.

You should:

Have completed an electrical apprenticeship

Ideally, have some experience with domestic and/or light commercial HVAC installations

Take pride in your workmanship

Have a good work ethic and positive attitude

Be reliable and punctual

Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Have good communication skills

Be willing to learn and develop your skills

Hold a current driver's licence

If you’re newer to installation work but have the right attitude and are keen to learn, don’t count yourself out.

We’d rather have someone who wants to learn, takes pride in their work and turns up ready to have a crack than someone who has 20 years’ experience and thinks every problem can be fixed with silicone.

Because we work in schools, aged care facilities and other sensitive environments, you will need to already hold, or be able to successfully obtain and maintain, the required credentials.
