Job summary

MSS East Coast Air Pty Ltd is seeking an HVAC Installer who can handle HVAC/R and/or Electrical installation work across residential, office, aged care and educational facilities in the Newcastle, Maitland and the greater Hunter Region.

You will install domestic and light commercial air conditioning systems, work with pipework, electrical components and drains, and ensure safe, high-quality installations with a professional finish while coordinating with teammates.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R and/or Electrical apprenticeship completed or in progress.
• Experience with domestic and light commercial installations preferred.
• Pride in workmanship and quality finishes.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Hold a current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Install domestic and light commercial air conditioning systems.
• Install pipework, electrical components, drains and related equipment.
• Complete installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Qualified HVAC installer and/ or Electrician

We're looking for an HVAC/R &/ or Electrical tradie who knows how to get the job done properly.

For over 20 years, our company has built a strong reputation for delivering quality HVAC solutions across Newcastle, Maitland and the greater Hunter Region. We're continuing to grow and are looking for an HVAC Installer to join our team.

YOUR MISSION

We're looking for someone who enjoys installation work, takes pride in their workmanship and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

You'll be installing air conditioning systems across:

• Residential homes
• Office spaces
• Nursing homes and aged care facilities
• Schools and educational facilities

You'll be expected to:

• Install domestic and light commercial air conditioning systems
• Install pipework, electrical components, drains and associated equipment
• Complete installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintain a quality finish and professional presentation
• Work alongside installers, technicians and apprentices
• Follow manufacturer specifications and company procedures
• Treat customers' homes and commercial premises with respect

We're looking for the right person.

You should:

• Have completed an HVAC/R and/ or Electrical apprenticeship and have relevant industry experience
• Have some experience with domestic and/or light commercial installations
• Take pride in your workmanship
• Have a good work ethic and positive attitude
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have good communication skills
• Be willing to learn and develop your skills (who knows – a progression path to advance further could be on the cards for the right person)
• Hold a current driver's licence

If you're newer to installation work but have the right attitude and are keen to learn, don't count yourself out.

We'd rather have someone who wants to learn, takes pride in their work and turns up ready to have a crack than someone who has 20 years' experience and thinks every problem can be fixed with silicone.

THE BORING BUT IMPORTANT STUFF

Because we work in schools, aged care facilities and other sensitive environments, you will need to already hold, or be able to successfully obtain and maintain, the required credentials.

These include:

• Relevant trade qualifications, or the ability to successfully obtain the required qualifications
• Current driver's licence
