Job summary

Only About Children’s Asquith campus is seeking casual educators to support preschool and childcare across rooms, bringing warmth, flexibility and care to children's routines, play and learning.

You will hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or approved equivalent) and have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check. Casual shifts offer flexibility and potential pathways into permanent roles within OAC.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or approved equivalent).
• Early learning experience preferred.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, caring, and welcoming learning environment across rooms and age groups.
• Support meals, rest, transitions, hygiene and personal care with warmth and calm.
• Engage with children in play and learning, supporting curiosity and growth.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and staff to foster a collaborative team.
• Adapt quickly to different rooms and routines while maintaining consistency and safety.
• Uphold child safety practices and supervision on every shift.

About Our Asquith Campus

Our purpose-built Preschool and Childcare is located in a fun factory setting, conveniently located in the heart of Asquith at 57 Salisbury Road, Asquith, 2077. With plenty of off-street parking, families are ensured a safe and efficient drop off and pick up every visit. We are conveniently located near public transport with Asquith Station only a five minute walk away. We're looking for warm, flexible and reliable Casual Educators to join our team.

About The Role

I need safe, kind grown-ups around me, even when the day is busy or different. As a Casual Qualified Educator, you will support rooms across the campus, bringing warmth, flexibility and care into children's routines, play and learning.

What You'll Bring
