Job summary

Only About Children Hampton is seeking casual qualified educators to support rooms across the campus with warmth, flexibility and care in children's routines, play and learning.

As a Casual Qualified Educator, you will help maintain safe, calm environments, assist with meals and routines and build strong relationships with children, families and staff. This role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to grow within the OAC community.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or approved equivalent.
• Early learning experience preferred.
• Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Warm communication with children, families and teams.
• Understanding of supervision, routines and child safe practices.
• Confidence adapting across rooms and age groups.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support rooms across the campus bringing warmth, flexibility and care into children's routines, play and learning.
• Assist with meals, rest, transitions, hygiene and personal care to keep routines familiar.
• Join in play, notice children's interests and help learning feel safe.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and educators.
• Adapt quickly across different rooms, ages and routines to maintain calm.
• Ensure child safe practices and supervision are part of every shift.

About our Hampton campus

At Hampton, my day feels small, homely and close to the Bayside community. I arrive on Bluff Road, near Hampton Street, reserves, buses and local clubs. The campus feels personal, welcoming and calm.

I learn in three indoor rooms and play outside under the big oak tree, in the natural yard, on the bike track, near the vegetable garden and outdoor dining area. I can make friends, try new foods, practise routines and feel safe with familiar grown-ups. This is where my day feels steady, warm and connected.

About the role

As a Casual Qualified Educator, you will support rooms across the campus, bringing warmth, flexibility and care into children's routines, play and learning.
