Job summary

Atlan Stormwater is seeking a hands-on Field Maintenance Technician to join our field operations team across Queensland. You will service, clean, and repair vital stormwater treatment infrastructure at commercial and civil sites, reporting to the QLD/NT Maintenance Operations Manager.

A strong trade background with a safety-first approach is essential. You will conduct scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot components, and ensure accurate documentation on site.

Qualifications

• Trade background or hands-on experience in plumbing, civil maintenance, mechanical servicing, or environmental field operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on stormwater infrastructure (GPTs, oil/water separators, bioretention systems, harvesting setups).
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot mechanical/environmental components, and perform minor corrective works.
• Adhere to WHS policies, SWMS, and environmental guidelines.
• Complete digital job sheets, service reports, and asset condition logs on site.
• Deliver outstanding, professional customer service to clients and property managers.

The Role:

We are looking for a hands‑on, reliable Maintenance Technician to join our field operations team. Reporting to the QLD/NT Maintenance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, cleaning, and repairing vital stormwater treatment infrastructure across commercial and civil sites in QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on stormwater infrastructure (including Gross Pollutant Traps, oil/water separators, bioretention systems, and harvesting setups).
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot mechanical/environmental components, and perform minor corrective works.
• Adhere strictly to WHS policies, safe work method statements (SWMS), and environmental guidelines.
• Complete digital job sheets, service reports, and asset condition logs accurately on site.
• Deliver outstanding, professional customer service to clients and property managers.

Skills & Experience:

• Relevant trade background or hands‑on experience in plumbing, civil maintenance, mechanical servicing, or environmental field operations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a practical, safety‑first approach.
• Current Australian Driver’s License and Construction White Card (confined spaces or HR license are highly regarded).
