Qualifications

• Experience in OHSE/HSE coordination or administration roles.
• Experience preparing and reviewing SWMS.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS/OHS legislation and safety requirements.
• Experience maintaining SDS registers and compliance documentation.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and processes.
• Strong administration, organisational and document control skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workforce compliance records and safety documentation.
• Administer and monitor OHS systems in accordance with Australian legislation and standards.
• Prepare, review and maintain Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Maintain and update Safety Data Sheet (SDS) registers and records.
• Coordinate Test & Tag compliance for all electrical equipment.
• Maintain and update company asset registers.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, toolbox talks and safety audits.
• Maintain incident and hazard registers and prepare reports for management.
• Coordinate safety inductions, equipment training and SOP briefings for employees and contractors.
• Support consistent application of safety procedures across national projects and workshops.

Industrial Projects Team is seeking a proactive, organised and hands-on OHSE Coordinator to support and coordinate Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems across national projects and workshop operations. This role will suit someone with strong attention to detail, excellent administration skills and a genuine passion for workplace safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain workforce compliance records and safety documentation
