Job summary

Easy Skill is seeking a QA/QC Lead for a major infrastructure project in Perth, WA. This 18-month fixed-term contract requires senior expertise in quality assurance and control across civil, mechanical, and structural works.

You will lead QA/QC governance, audits, NCR handling, and subcontractor oversight, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and project ITPs, with urgency to mobilize within 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical engineering or quality management.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive QA/QC leadership on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in a Tier-1 construction environment is mandatory.
• Water infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
• Must reside in Perth, WA with full Australian working rights and mobilization within 4 weeks.
• Expert knowledge of Australian Standards, ITPs, materials testing, tolerances, and piping specs.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Quality Leadership & Systems: develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan and QMS per ISO 9001.
• Field Inspections & Surveillance: oversee site QA/QC inspections across disciplines and ITP compliance.
• Non-Conformance Management: manage NCRs up to closeout with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Auditing & Compliance: plan and execute audits of subcontractors and main site activities.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Quality Oversight: review submittals, methods, test reports, and FAT results.
• Handover & Documentation: manage MDRs, quality handovers, and punch lists for client commissioning.
