Job summary

BE Campbell is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to own site QA, lead a high performing technical team, and drive a strong Quality & Food Safety culture across a fast-paced manufacturing environment on the factory floor.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on improving systems, developing people, embedding quality, and guiding external audits to lift standards and ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

• Have 5+ years in a QA leadership role within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Hold tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent.
• Experience with GFSI standards and quality system tools.
• Experience Leading external audits (retail, third-party, import/export).
• Passionate about Quality & food safety and influencing teams with this passion.
• Balance strong technical capability with practical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of site QA and lead a high performing technical team.
• Drive a strong Quality & Food Safety culture across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Improve systems, develop people, and embed quality on the factory floor.
• Lead external audits and use insights to lift standards.
• Maintain and improve the site Quality Management System.
• Partner with Operations to embed QA into daily routines.
• Use data and lean thinking to drive continuous improvement.
• Champion compliance behaviours across the site.
