Talent is seeking a QA Analyst in Melbourne for a role combining manual and automated testing across desktop Win32 apps, web apps, and APIs. The position involves automation scripting, developing VB Script-based tests, and contributing to a migration to TestComplete.

You will work in a hybrid setup with on-site collaboration several days per week. The candidate should have 2–3 years of automation testing experience, strong testing across various layers, and good communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years automation testing experience.
• Experience testing Win32/Windows desktop applications.
• Experience with TestComplete and automation scripts.
• Testing across manual, API, data, etc.
• Exposure to edge tech/IoT is a plus.
• Ability to perform functional, regression and integration testing.
• Experience with Java, AWS, Postgres DB, Azure DevOps is a bonus.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases and procedures.
• Execute manual and automated tests within sprints.
• Migrate testing suite to TestComplete and develop new scripts/frameworks in VB Script.
• Ensure releases meet defined quality goals.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and internal teams to meet requirements.
• Attend design reviews and user meetings as required.
• Document test cases, plans, results and defects.
• Perform system integration, functional, performance testing before production.
