Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Melbourne is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile and web apps. You will drive test coverage improvements across software products, and work with developers and QA engineers to implement robust automation across UI, API, and integration tests.

The role requires hands-on automation with Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/Appium, API testing tools, and CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Appium.
Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Understanding WCAG accessibility testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile and web apps.
Create end-to-end automated test suites for UI, API, and integration testing.
Plan test strategies, write test plans, and manage test data and logs.
Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to enhance test coverage.
Contribute to CI/CD integration with automated tests.
