Job summary

Our client requires a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the team in South Melbourne on a hybrid arrangement. The role encompasses testing high-performance Win32 desktop apps, modern web-based apps, and back-end microservices and APIs, with both automation and manual testing skills essential.

Key duties include designing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, migrating testing to TestComplete, and developing new scripts/frameworks in VB Script.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years automation testing experience.
• Experience testing Win32 desktop and web-based applications.
• Good knowledge of TestComplete and automation scripting (VB Script).
• Strong manual testing skills across API, UI and data testing.
• Exposure to edge technologies/IoT is a plus.
• Ability to perform functional, regression and end-to-end testing within Agile sprints.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed test cases and testing procedures from requirements.
• Perform manual and automation testing within sprints.
• Migrate testing suite to TestComplete and develop new scripts/frameworks.
• Ensure releases meet defined quality goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Document test plans, results and defects; execute test plans across system/functional/volume tests.
• Create, maintain and run automated test scripts; analyze and adjust as needed.
