Job summary

Finity is seeking a junior quality assurance engineer to join our Melbourne team for a full-time, on-site role. The ideal candidate will design and implement QA procedures, monitor test scripts, and troubleshoot quality issues while contributing to automation initiatives.

You should have experience with JavaScript testing frameworks, automated testing, and a solid understanding of modern web applications and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (React/Angular).
• Experience with automated testing.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases; writing SQL scripts.
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing QA/Bot procedures to ensure adequate test results from insurance websites using our in-house tool
• Implement and monitor test scripts to assess basic functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the website, and the accuracy of the outcome
• Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures in response to customer feedback and product issues
• Drive continuous improvement, recommending and implementing enhancements to test processes and procedures
• Ensure test environments are maintained to maximise availability
• Assist in implementing and running automation solutions
