Job summary

NSW Health’s SESLHD Mental Health Service is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance and Accreditation Lead to oversee quality management across regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards. You will lead staff, align practices with evidence-based care, and foster strong stakeholder relationships within SESLHD.

The role is based at Kogarah, with travel to other SESLHD sites, 38-hour weeks, temporary full-time appointment through October 2027.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in health management or quality auditing or equivalent.
• Strong leadership to drive compliance and quality improvement across complex services.
• Extensive knowledge of national standards quality assurance, quality improvement and safety systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior management and stakeholders.
• Experience planning and evaluating at strategic and service levels in a high-volume environment.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and support staff to deliver best clinical care through robust quality management.
• Ensure quality and standards meet regulatory, accreditation and quality requirements.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships within SESLHD and across Mental Health Service.
• Travel to SESLHD sites as required and coordinate travel schedules.
