Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Developer Programmer in NSW, Australia, to design and implement Python-based test automation for device, chipset, and IoT testing. The role emphasizes hands-on field testing, log analysis, and cross-platform validation across 4G/5G environments.

The candidate will work with real-world networks, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to automated test scenarios in collaboration with development and customer teams to ensure timely, quality releases.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Python-based test automation framework development and scripting.
• Hands-on expertise in Field Testing, network validation, and troubleshooting across real-world environments.
• Experience in Chipset Testing/Validation on Qualcomm, MTK, Shannon, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of IoT device testing, connectivity protocols, and end-to-end solution validation.
• Proficient in log analysis and debugging using tools such as QXDM, Wireshark, ADB, and Linux.
• Knowledge of 4G/5G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Mobility, and IMS testing, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and frameworks for device, chipset, and IoT testing.
• Execute field testing, analyze logs, investigate defects, and perform root cause analysis using debugging tools.
• Validate 4G/5G, IMS, mobility, and IoT device functionality across different chipset platforms.
• Collaborate with development and customer teams to automate test scenarios, track issues, and ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
