Job summary

Morse Micro is seeking a hands-on QA/QC Engineer to own validation across Android/iOS apps, cloud services, and embedded firmware. You will implement end-to-end testing, automate suites, and collaborate with global teams to ensure secure, high-performance IoT connectivity.

The role emphasizes CI/CD gates, OTA firmware validation, and strong API/network testing fundamentals in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of QA/QC experience for mobile, backend, or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation scripts for mobile, cloud, and firmware layers.
• Validate Android and iOS apps for UI/UX, functionality, performance, and device compatibility.
• Verify REST, WebSocket, and TCP/UDP APIs for correctness, performance, and security.
• End-to-end system validation across firmware, cloud, and mobile clients.
• Collaborate with development to reproduce and resolve defects throughout the SDLC.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile apps, APIs, and device interactions.
• Validate OTA firmware updates and real-time event handling.
• Establish quality gates in CI/CD and maintain regression suites.
• Document and communicate test results using QA tools and dashboards.
