Job summary

Grydale Solutions in Brisbane is seeking a Purchasing Officer / Inventory Controller to keep materials flowing and inventory accurate in a fast-paced environment.

You will raise purchase orders, source materials, manage supplier communications, conduct cycle counts and maintain precise records using ERP systems (Business Central highly regarded).

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, stores, or procurement.
• Proficient with ERP systems, especially Business Central.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments is valued.

Purchasing Officer / Inventory Controller

Are you highly organised, great with systems, and known for spotting the details others miss?

We're looking for a Purchasing Officer / Inventory Controller to join our team in Hendra. This is a fast-paced role where you'll play a critical part in keeping materials flowing, inventory accurate, and operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Raising and managing purchase orders.
• Sourcing materials and obtaining supplier quotations.
• Expediting deliveries and managing supplier communications.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Conducting cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
• Supporting freight coordination and procurement reporting.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in purchasing, inventory control, stores, or procurement.
• Strong computer skills and experience using ERP systems (Business Central highly regarded).
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or parts environments is highly regarded.
