Highgate Healthcare in Adelaide is seeking a proactive Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to own purchasing activities and maintain inventory availability. You will manage supplier relationships, coordinate across procurement, inventory, and internal teams, and ensure products are available when customers need them.

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or supply chain coordination.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Exposure to international shipping and logistics.
• Experience with inventory or ERP/business management systems.
• Excellent supplier management and issue resolution.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of stock-demand relationship.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate purchasing and procurement activities across the product range.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery.
• Maintain relationships with Australian and international suppliers.
• Monitor stock levels, demand and upcoming purchasing requirements.
• Support inventory planning and ensuring stock availability.
• Monitor supplier lead times and manage potential supply issues.
• Follow up outstanding orders, backorders and delivery discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, product and inventory data in systems.
• Collaborate with sales, warehousing, operations and management on requirements.
• Review inventory movement and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Support stocktakes, reconciliations and discrepancy investigations.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and supplier performance.
• Assist with pricing, freight and purchasing-related information.
• Provide clear reporting on purchasing, inventory and supply issues.
• Contribute to broader operational and continuous-improvement initiatives.
