Job summary

Kennards Hire is seeking an Assistant Specialist Manager to lead the Pumps & Water Management team. You will work alongside the Specialist Manager to guide day-to-day operations, support team members, and deliver tailored pump and water management solutions for customers.

You will leverage your pumps knowledge, customer service skills, and leadership experience to grow the specialist hire offering while maintaining high safety and service standards across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pumps, water management or similar specialist equipment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, or readiness to take that next step.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to adapt when priorities change.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support the Specialist Manager with the day-to-day running of the business.
• Supervise, delegate and coordinate daily activities across the team.
• Work with customers to understand their requirements and recommend pump and water management solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and help identify opportunities to grow the specialist business.
• Coordinate with Transport to ensure equipment is delivered and collected on time.
