Morgan Consulting partners with an established pump specialist to appoint an experienced Service Manager – Pumps. Lead both workshop and field service operations, coordinating jobs from assessment to commissioning while staying hands-on with equipment and team.

You will review strip reports, support fault diagnosis, and oversee safe, high-quality repairs. This role suits a technically adept manager who thrives on problem solving and team leadership in a busy mechanical service environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with pumps and rotating equipment.
• Experience leading mechanical service workshops and field teams.
• Ability to assess equipment condition, fault diagnose and guide repairs.
• Excellent scheduling, planning and quoting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the pump service workshop and field service.
• Remain hands-on with pump repairs, overhauls and service work.
• Coordinate workshop and field service schedules and resources.
• Provide technical guidance to tradespeople and customers.
• Prepare accurate repair and service quotations and liaise with suppliers.
• Ensure safety, quality and engineering standards are met across all work.
