Job summary

Metso in Henderson, WA is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot Metso pumps and pumping systems at customer sites. This hands-on role offers autonomy and a path to growth within a global leader in sustainable mining technology.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Fitter trade qualification with a strong safety record and experience with pumps or rotating equipment, plus excellent communication and willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
• Strong safety and safe work practices.
• Experience maintaining pumps or rotating equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Proficient in MS Office; field service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, overhaul and repair Metso pumps and pumping systems at customer sites.
• Conduct field inspections and condition assessments of customer equipment.
• Diagnose faults and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Complete shutdowns, breakdowns and planned maintenance.
• Build strong relationships with customers through professional service delivery.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with site requirements.
