Job summary

Malcolm Thompson Pumps is seeking an experienced Service Supervisor to lead the Service Team across workshop and customer sites in Australia. You will own day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality pump servicing, repairs and technical support while balancing people leadership and workflow management.

The role offers hands-on leadership with potential progression to Service Manager as capability grows, with a focus on safety, quality and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pumps and pump servicing.
• Experience supervising or coordinating technicians or service teams.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support the Service Team.
• Schedule pump servicing, repairs and field service activities.
• Manage workflow, labour and resources to meet customer timeframes.
• Prepare and oversee accurate service quotes; oversee installation and commissioning of pumps.
• Coordinate field service technicians and subcontractors; provide hands-on technical support.
