Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a REAL Publican for the Beach Hotel in Seaford. You will lead front-of-house hospitality, manage a modern bar and pub-food service, and run event spaces to create experiences locals love.

You’ll know the regulars, drive a high-performing team, and own the P&L. RSA, RSG and Responsible Person qualifications are required, with opportunities for growth within ALH Hotels and the Endeavour Group network.

• Hands-on role requiring manual handling and lifting; ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Must hold RSA, RSG and Responsible Person qualifications per SA state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing pub team and create a welcoming guest experience.
• Manage daily operations to keep safety, compliance, and service standards.
• Own the P&L and deliver live entertainment and events.
• Proactively resolve issues and maintain a vibrant venue atmosphere.

Job description

We’re on the hunt for a REAL Publican, someone who lives and breathes hospitality, leads from the front, and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.

With a large modern bar, delicious pub food and great function spaces, the Beach Hotel is a local favourite in Seaford. We’re situated on the corner of Commercial Rd and Griffiths Dr; just a 15 minute walk to the beach.
Our Bar menu has a selection of pizzas to choose from, and the Bistro menu offers delicious meals from the chargrill or rotisserie. If our guests are after a quality pub meal, we’ve got them covered with everything from schnitzel to steak, salads and everything in between, served at both the Bistro and Bar. There’s plenty of seating inside, or guests can grab a seat in the Alfresco area or Beer Garden.
The bar at the Beach Hotel is the perfect spot to settle in to catch up with mates, watch the game or enjoy an afternoon session. On the weekends, we’ve got live entertainment making us the hottest place in Seaford for a night out.

Salary:From $92,000 + superannuation + bonus

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

Hold current industry RSA,RSG and Responsible Person qualifications as per South Australianstate requirements
