The Blue Cattle Dog Hotel, part of ALH Hotels, seeks a Publican to lead operations with energy and guest‑centered hospitality. You’ll connect with locals, oversee staff, and drive a high‑performing team to deliver memorable pub experiences in St Clair, NSW.

This hands-on role requires RSA/RCG and Licensee qualifications; you’ll manage safety, compliance, and the guest journey while living the Publican life in a thriving community venue within the Endeavour Group network.

Qualifications

• RSA and RCG and Licensee qualifications as per NSW requirements.
• Hospitality leadership experience and strong people management.
• Ability to oversee P&L and ensure compliant, safe operations.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Publican (Venue Manager) | Blue Cattle Dog Hotel

We're not just looking for a Venue Manager, we're on the hunt for a REAL Publican, someone who lives and breathes hospitality, leads from the front, and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.

The Blue Cattle Dog Hotel has created an environment that caters to people from all walks of life who work, live or frequent St Clair and the area nearby. With a large, family-friendly dining environment, multiple bars and state of the art TAB Sports Lounge plus our unique Barbershop, there really is no other venue like the Blue Cattle Dog Hotel. If a getaway is what our guests are after, Nightcap at Blue Cattle Dog Hotel boasts 34 recently renovated rooms with all the additions and facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.

So whether they're enjoying a meal with the family, an overdue catch up with mates, or simply enjoying an ice cold schooner while watching their favourite live sport, our guests can look no further than The Blue Cattle Dog Hotel.

Salary:

From $110,000 + superannuation + bonus

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
