Job summary

Marsh Public Sector is seeking an experienced insurance broker to manage a portfolio of local government clients in South Australia. The role focuses on developing relationships, advising on risk management and risk transfer solutions, and meeting compliance requirements.

You will provide claims and technical support to internal and external stakeholders, maintain members' data, and collaborate with different Marsh divisions. Travel to client sites across SA is expected.

Qualifications

• We need knowledge of insurance broking principles, products and services.
• Developed negotiation and communication skills relevant to client engagement.
• Risk management knowledge/experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and underwriters.
• Travel to meet clients, predominantly across South Australia.
• Provide claims advocacy and oversee equitable claim settlements for clients.
• Lead and mentor less experienced brokers on the team.
