Job summary

Marsh Risk in Adelaide, part of Marsh McLennan, seeks a diligent account manager for its Local Community Insurance Services team. The role focuses on managing client relationships, handling renewals, and providing tailored insurance solutions in a hybrid, office-plus-field environment.

You will work closely with insurers and internal teams to deliver accurate policy administration, pricing, and service excellence while building trust with community groups and not-for-profit clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar account management role within the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with client management systems.
• Undertake Company directed compliance training, preferably RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance.
• Call centre experience (back-to-back calls) and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the LCIS team to manage a portfolio of clients and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
• Answer calls and manage emails, prepare quotations, endorsements and new business.
• Oversee renewal process to ensure timely coverage and appropriate terms.
• Identify opportunities to provide insurance solutions meeting clients' needs and exceed expectations.
• Develop understanding of clients' activities and insurance requirements.
• Guide on coverage options, terms and conditions; collaborate with internal teams on policy administration, billing and claims.
• Ensure accurate recording of client interactions in systems per policy.
