Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking an experienced Manager - Data & Analytics Delivery to lead a multidisciplinary data team within a Victorian Government organisation. You will lead a team comprising 3 direct reports and 14 indirect reports, working closely with senior executives and key stakeholders to drive data innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience managing multidisciplinary data and analytics teams in complex organisations.
• Strong experience delivering data analytics, reporting, data management and business intelligence solutions.
• Demonstrated experience developing data strategies, roadmaps and operating models.
• Sound technical understanding of data lakes, data engineering, integration, data quality and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and delivery management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, analysts, developers and specialists, with 3 direct and 14 indirect reports.
• Oversee the delivery of data analytics, reporting solutions and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive data strategy, planning, delivery roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage the development, maintenance and population of the data lake, ensuring reliable and accessible data.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, risks, governance and stakeholder relationships to achieve business outcomes.
