Job summary

The Commonwealth Government organisation in Australia is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead a multidisciplinary data team, delivering data assets and products to support workflow and decision making. You will manage scope, schedule, risks and dependencies, and maintain a delivery roadmap aligned with program milestones.

You will coordinate with business analysts, service designers and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and traceability, and report progress to governance bodies in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience leading data teams to deliver change programs with high-quality outcomes.
• Experience managing data and analytics resources to deliver robust solutions while meeting delivery timelines.
• Experience constructing a detailed plan of activity to discover, design, build and implement data products using best practice delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, Prince2, PMBOK).

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary project team to deliver data assets and products that underpin workflow and decision making across the organisation.
• Manage project scope, schedule, dependencies, resourcing and risks.
• Establish and maintain a delivery roadmap, aligned with program milestones. Manage a backlog of developments and enhancements, prioritising for value and feasibility.
• Regularly report delivery progress, risks and issues to senior responsible officers and program governance.
• Coordinate engagement with business analysts, business representatives and service designers to define clear and feasible requirements for data assets and products.
