You will collaborate with the laboratory team to manage specimens, liaise with infectious diseases and other clinical services, and contribute to quality assurance and teaching activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to liaise with clinical staff regarding microbiology tests and results.
• Willingness to participate in teaching and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage specimens and vet selected molecular, serology and uncommon tests under on-site supervision.
• Ensure appropriate specimen processing and timely, accurate result reporting.
• Liaise with clinical teams and external laboratories as needed.
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship meetings and infection control discussions.
• Contribute to teaching and laboratory meetings.
