Job summary

The Bayside Health pathology position is a Part-time Laboratory Scientist Grade 1/2 (RX1-RY7) based at Western Health - Footscray Anatomical Pathology Laboratory and possibly Prahran. The role focuses on histology and cytology, with rotating rosters Monday to Friday, 06:30–18:00 hours, 0.8 EFT (64 hours per fortnight).

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in pathology or medical laboratory science.
• Experience with histopathological techniques and tissue handling.
• Good communication and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform histological and Cytological techniques in pathology lab.
• Rotate to different sites for training and development.
• Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines in a rotable roster.
