Shangri-La Sydney is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of our hotel's public spaces. You will play a key role in ensuring luxury standards are reflected throughout guest and employee areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role within hospitality preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, lifts, function spaces, and employee areas.
• Ensure all public spaces are presented to the highest standards at all times.
• Replenish amenities and supplies in public restrooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service requirements.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, and lost property in a timely manner.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning schedules.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and hotel brand standards.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and other operational departments.

About the Role

Shangri-La Sydney is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of our hotel's public spaces. As an integral part of our Housekeeping team, you will ensure that all guest and employee areas reflect the highest standards of luxury, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, lifts, function spaces, and employee areas.
• Ensure all public spaces are presented to the highest standards at all times.
• Replenish amenities and supplies in public restrooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
