Job summary

Indigeco Pty Ltd is seeking a Public Affairs Officer (EL1 equivalent) to lead the planning and delivery of a major national event scheduled for 2027 in Canberra, ACT. You will coordinate media activities, stakeholder engagement, and comprehensive communications materials across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in public affairs, communications, media, stakeholder engagement or event management.
• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering large-scale or national events.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written communication and ability to develop collateral across channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of a high-profile national event in 2027.
• Manage external suppliers, service providers, budgets and contracts.
• Develop event briefs, communication plans and supporting resources.
• Coordinate media activities and event-related public affairs requirements.
